Hi,
The 1980+ Mokes had hoods with the curved zips and panels while the early style was straight vertical zips and 'clips' along the horizontals and the angled part of the rear doors. The curved zips are under a lot of pressure and they tend to fail first on the curve and if you are a tall person they create a restricted/blocked view without or without the doors at the top.
In Melbourne the two best known hood makers that have been making Moke hoods for many years are Ace Trim in Greensborough whom I prefer to use and Straightline Trimming in Bayswater, who I have used once. Both advertise with the MOA and will make them to your specs or the standard hoods.
