A few things to note :
  • A newsletter was emailed this morning to all those who have registered for this year's Round Up. If you didn't receive one, let us know and we'll investigate.
  • There will be a BBQ on the Tuesday night, compliments of our generous hosts at Austin. Another newsletter will be sent to everyone in the next couple of days about this.
  • UPDATE ON ACCOMMODATION : There are only two cabins still available at Austin Tourist Park - one is a deluxe queen cabin with a queen bed and a king bed (or alternatively a queen and two singles), and the other is a double cabin and two sets of bunks (non ensuite).
These will remain held for Round Up attendees for only one more week, and then they will be made available to the public.
If you are after a cabin and haven't booked, contact Austin Tourist Park asap on (02)6766-2380 & remember to tell them you're coming for the Moke Round Up.

Hi KMC and Newie,

How is the weather looking, is there any chance of flooding?  I did say I was coming come hell or high water, I do hope that statement isn't going to be to prophetic.

See you guys on Tuesday.

Cheers
Dave

Hey Dave,

What can we say :D. In our region it is only minor roads that are still affected - unlike the western regions where even highways are blocked by flooding. We have seen some major closures, but these have been very short.

More rain is expected for a couple of days later in the week, but clearing by the weekend. It may affect our runs, but we’ve got a few alternatives in need.

Have a check of livetraffic.com (or the Live Traffic NSW app) before departing for an up to date look at closures and/or detours.

Safe travels and hopefully see you Tuesday :)

That's not how I remember it. :)

Thanks for another good event, despite the amount the water falling. It was good to see how most people still went out on the runs and got wet and had a laugh about it. I really expected the can of WD40 to get emptied during the week but I don't think I saw a Moke stopped due to water in the ignition for the whole week, including mine, which was a big surprise.
